Brother of Private James Maynard, who was killed in action on September 2, 1918 while serving with the Canadian Infantry (Central Ontario Regiment) and Private Jack Maynard, who was killed in action on September 29, 1918 while serving with the Canadian Infantry (Central Ontario Regiment).
