  • Photo of George Redhead– From a photo of "Seargents and Staff of 44th Battalion C.E.F Camp Sewell" 1915. George enlisted with the 46th Battalion at Regina, Saskatchewan on March 16, 1915. On May 28, 1915, he moved with the battalion to Camp Sewell (later known as Camp Hughes) in Manitoba for training. The battalion embarked for Britain October 21, 1915.
