Baptized Joseph-Guillaume-Victor Duquette. Son of Samuel Duquette (deceased in 1900) and Marie Pelletier (remarried to Louis Dufresne in 1901 and widow again in 1911), of Longueuil, Québec. Victor stated being born on the 5th when he enlisted.
