Son of Dominique Bossé and Rose Anna Babineau. Brother of Émelda, Cécile, Lucille and Marie Jeanne.

On the afternoon of 23 November 1951, D Company of the Royal 22e Régiment came under attack from at least two Chinese companies. During the night, an American unit launched an assault and retook the western flank of hill 355, thus relieving the pressure on the Canadians. Attacks continued throughout the night until the morning of the 24th. Bossé was killed in action.

Commemorated on the Korean War Memorial in downtown Ottawa, Ontario. An identical monument has been erected at the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Pusan, South Korea.

The United Nations Cemetery is located in Tanggok, a suburb of Busan. The land for the cemetery was granted to the United Nations by the Republic of Korea as a tribute to all those who had laid down their lives in combatting aggression and in upholding peace and freedom. There are 2,267 servicemen buried in the United Nations Memorial Cemetery. Of these 1,538 were Commonwealth soldiers, including 376 Canadians.
