Hello friends, I am Simone the cat.
When I was a little kitten, there was a big flood in my town. Many roads were covered with water. Some people could not leave their houses. We were in trouble!
Canadian Armed Forces members came to help. They worked to hold back the rising waters. I heard that soldiers and firefighters rescued people and pets like me.
Kind words warm people’s hearts.
I want to say thank you to the Veterans who helped my community when we needed it the most.
I am writing a simple message on a card. I can’t wait to give it to a Veteran! They have done so much to help Canadians over the years. What would you thank Veterans for doing?
